To open the Snipping Tool, select Start, enter snipping tool, then select it from the results. To use the Snipping Tool with only a mouse: A notification also appears once you're finished taking a screenshot, select it for more editing options. I followed the directions I found on another site (the same posted by the OP - uninstall the app, disable via group policy, disable via registry, disable via accessibility key setting), but nothing worked. The screenshot is automatically copied to your clipboard. I use SnagIt and after installing an update to Windows, the PrintScreen key would open the snipping tool instead of SnagIt. If you’re using Windows 10, Snip & Sketch will download to your PC instead. Note: The new Snipping Tool is available only on Windows 11.
